Both the Trooper that pulls you over and the Trooper that ran radar would have to show up in court, but the ticket is valid if they both do. If he thinks they're lowlifes, I hope he never has to call them for an emergency. Maybe then he'll realize that they're there to keep order and save lives. :I have a friend who use to spend a lot of time driving I-90 here in Washington State. He hated the WSP so much that he use to flash his lights and flip them off whenever he saw them on the highway. He thought anybody who would write speeding tickets as part of their jobs was low life. Anyway, he claimed that if you were cited for speeding, the officer had to have the radar in his possession. If the information about your speed was relayed from a remote location, the radar readout was hearsay and the ticket would be dismissed in court. :Any truth to this idea? Does anybody have direct information about this, frinstance, personally having their own ticket, or that of an acquaintance, dismissed for this reason? After all, I don’t want to rely on hearsay. Thanks and a hat tip.
